Business Development Specialist

A well-established law firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support its attorneys and practice groups with business development, client development, and marketing initiatives. This role will work closely with attorneys and the broader Marketing & Business Development team and is ideal for someone with prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment. Key Responsibilities Support attorney and practice group business development plans, initiatives, and follow-up. Conduct research on clients, prospects, industries, competitors, and market trends. Maintain and track business development opportunities, client relationships, and cross-selling initiatives. Prepare presentations, proposals, pitches, and other client-facing materials. Maintain practice group experience and matter information. Assist with marketing collateral, legal directory submissions, awards, and recognition materials. Support thought leadership initiatives, including client alerts, newsletters, podcasts, and other content. Assist with events, sponsorships, follow-up, and ROI tracking. Qualifications 3+ years of business development or marketing experience. Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, research, and project-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. CRM, Adobe InDesign, and marketing automation experience is a plus. The anticipated salary range is $90,000–$120,000 , depending on experience and qualifications.
