This remote role will allow you to work from the comfort of your home while connected to a collaborative team dedicated to mental health improvement. Our work culture emphasizes flexibility, making accommodations for both patient needs and therapist schedules within our established hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to understand individual client needs, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy through secure telehealth platforms, ensuring a consistent and high-quality therapeutic experience.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, creating a welcoming environment for addressing common mental health challenges and promoting community support.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure continuity of care and optimal treatment outcomes.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support and resources to clients experiencing urgent mental health needs.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices in documentation.

• Participate actively in weekly team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and learning from other professionals in the field to enhance service delivery.

• Stay informed about advances in mental health practices and integrate this knowledge into patient care and treatment methodologies.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique cultural and personal needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Washington.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in conducting thorough assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Expertise in providing individual and group therapy to a diverse client population.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport quickly.

• Expertise in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring efficient data management.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient or telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Joyful Journeys provides a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
