Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students’ mental health needs, history, and treatment goals.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy by employing a range of evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and narrative therapy.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs while incorporating family dynamics and school context.

• Maintain clear and ongoing communication with clients to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students facing a variety of challenges that may impact their academic performance and emotional health. This may include issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, trauma, and family disruptions. By working directly within the school system, you will address these complex factors in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive both personally and academically.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• Demonstrable clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and the implementation of effective therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
