Work Environment

This role allows for a flexible remote work setting, making it possible to accommodate a diverse range of needs for both staff and clients. Operating from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the position requires occasional flexibility in schedule to meet the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the unique histories and needs of each patient.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals, focusing on resilience-building.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients navigate their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote overall well-being.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care and comprehensive treatment for each patient.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate care.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, guiding them in utilizing available resources effectively.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, reflecting interactions and treatment progress.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, applying new findings to enhance treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes patients grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our therapists are dedicated to understanding the complex nature of trauma responses, aiming to create an environment where patients feel empowered in their recovery journeys and supported through the healing process.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, maintaining a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and modern computer applications for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a community health or trauma-informed setting.
• Previous experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, contributing to successful patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment and manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000, based on experience and qualifications.
