Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, establishing a foundation for personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs and goals identified through the assessment process.

• Complete necessary administrative tasks, including billing and insurance authorization forms, with precision and within designated timelines.

• Develop comprehensive crisis and safety plans to proactively address emergencies and instill confidence in patients' abilities to navigate crises.

• Create effective discharge plans to ensure continuity of care post-therapy, facilitating a smooth transition for clients.

• Adhere to all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and agency policies, maintaining compliance in all aspects of care provision.

• Engage in continual professional development through training and educational opportunities, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of best practices.

• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and shared learning within the team.

• Fulfill all licensure and mandatory training requirements to maintain professional credentials and competencies.

Client Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families grappling with various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This role is crucial in delivering therapeutic interventions that lead to improved mental health outcomes, helping clients achieve stability and resilience in their daily lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required, leading to licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of New York is necessary to ensure compliance with practice standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
