Hr Operations Specialist

Overview We are seeking a People Operations Specialist to support HR operations across the APAC region and partner with global People teams. This role will help drive process improvements, systems implementations, employee support, and cross-functional HR initiatives while ensuring a positive employee experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support People Operations projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and operational enhancements.
* Develop, document, and maintain SOPs to improve efficiency, consistency, compliance, and employee experience.
* Assist with HR system implementations, testing, data validation, UAT, rollout activities, and ongoing support.
* Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage project deliverables, and help resolve issues and risks.
* Serve as a key contact for employee inquiries and support HR-related requests through established service channels.
* Partner with Payroll, Benefits, People Systems, and other teams to resolve employee issues and improve HR processes.
* Support change management initiatives and communications related to new programs, policies, and systems.
* Provide guidance on regional HR practices and ensure processes align with local requirements.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, HR Shared Services, or a related field.
* Business-level fluency in *Mandarin (written and verbal)*.
* Experience supporting HR operations within the APAC region.
* Proven experience creating and maintaining SOPs and process documentation.
* Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience with HR systems, preferably SAP, and project management tools such as JIRA.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across global teams.
* Flexibility to support occasional meetings across APAC business hours.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
