Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Bright View, your responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging and therapeutic group sessions where clients can share experiences and support each other in a safe environment.

• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide empathetic and personalized counseling to clients, helping them unpack their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing actionable coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet clients’ specific needs and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and evaluate client progress through structured feedback and assessment tools, adapting strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring cohesive care and communication, especially in complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often presents unique challenges and opportunities for growth. You will engage with clients facing varied mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma, empowering them to achieve lasting recovery through structured support and guidance.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Required licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Skills in active listening, empathy, and motivation, essential for effective client engagement.

• Strong ability to create and maintain a therapeutic rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience in telehealth counseling practice is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy in a mental health setting.

• Experience working with young adults and knowledge of the challenges they face.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Bright View offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a retirement plan with employer contribution, generous paid time off, and ongoing educational support for continuing education units (CEUs). Free clinical supervision is available to assist in maintaining licensure and enhancing professional skills.
