Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Walker seeking CNC Machinists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code to determine machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to ensure quality and production targets are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and materials.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to set up, operate, and program CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• Experience with various measuring tools and quality control processes (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery.
• Minimum of X years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
