Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients, gathering relevant information to inform personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to client care.

• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to maintain accurate client documentation and streamline communication across the team.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to remain updated on the latest evidence-based practices and therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adults, and families facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current active license or certification in the state of New York as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW).

• At least two years of experience working directly with clients experiencing emotional and psychological challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport and trust with clients.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems preferred, but not mandatory.
