This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. While the majority of your work will be conducted online, you will also have the opportunity to interact with colleagues and clients in our welcoming outpatient office located in Macon. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status during initial appointments and subsequent therapy sessions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies and culturally sensitive approaches.

• Regularly evaluate clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure efficacy.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions within our electronic health record system in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client population, including individuals managing various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. It is essential that candidates possess cultural competence and a deep understanding of how different backgrounds intersect with mental health issues, ensuring that all clients receive empathetic and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating expertise in therapy and client management.

• A solid understanding of various mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatments.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from varied backgrounds and cultures.

Compensation and Benefits\n
