Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional status of clients, which includes gathering information on backgrounds, issues, and treatment goals.

• Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices in alignment with client assessment results.
\n
• Engage clients in individual therapy sessions, addressing common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress management.
\n
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering strong emotional connections.
\n
• Regularly monitor and adapt treatment plans to reflect client progress and changing needs, ensuring effective and responsive care.
\n
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, including treatment plans, progress notes, and case histories, in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, supporting clients during acute distress or emergencies by employing de-escalation techniques and establishing safety plans.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and optimally address clients’ comprehensive needs.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops to stay current with best practices in marriage and family therapy.
\n
• Exemplify the highest ethical standards in all client interactions, advocating for client rights and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a wide variety of clients, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families. You will address various mental health challenges and relationship dynamics, helping clients navigate life's complexities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is mandatory.

• Proven experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy, demonstrating an understanding of relevant therapeutic models.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.

• Exceptional writing and communication proficiency as well as the ability to navigate electronic health record systems effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of direct clinical experience in a similar role is preferred, with a focus on outpatient counseling.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and couples, is a valuable asset.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for delivering therapy remotely, ensuring a secure and confidential environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
