Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Engage in regular consultations with colleagues to discuss treatment strategies and enhance therapeutic practices.
\n
• Document and maintain accurate client records in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Facilitate telehealth sessions in a HIPAA-compliant manner, while also being available for in-person sessions as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Relationship Behavioral Health Services, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds. The focus is on providing empathetic, culturally sensitive support, particularly for clients experiencing issues related to trauma, grief and loss, mental health disorders, and family dynamics. Understanding and respecting each client's unique cultural and individual needs is essential for fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Florida.
\n
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills to provide bilingual psychotherapy.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Demonstrated respect and sensitivity towards diverse cultural backgrounds.
\n
• Required training or certification in at least one therapeutic methodology, such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.
\n
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload through proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• A valid driver's license and insurance to facilitate transportation for in-person sessions when necessary.
\n
• Availability to work at least two evenings and one weekend day per week, ensuring regular and consistent attendance.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as Trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, Perinatal Mental Health, or Grief and Loss.

• Prior experience working within an in-network insurance, allowing for smoother navigation of billing processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer a sign-on bonus to help you transition into your new role.
