Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions remotely, facilitating a safe and supportive online space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs to develop tailored treatment plans that resonate with their goals and aspirations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' concerns and enhance their coping mechanisms.

• Provide continuous support and practical strategies to help clients manage their mental health, focusing on skill-building and resilience.

• Accurately document all client interactions and progress in electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with fellow mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans and ensure all aspects of client care are addressed.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment through ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, and adults, each facing unique mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to provide compassionate care to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and more, tailoring your approach to meet the distinct needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating a strong background in mental health counseling and client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with remote service provision and knowledge of developmental milestones for children, adolescents, and adults.

• Expertise in handling co-occurring mental health disorders, effective crisis intervention strategies, and evidence-based counseling methodologies.

• Experience engaging with diverse populations and a variety of mental health issues.
\n
• Additional certifications or licenses such as DBT, CCTP, Sexual Offender Certification, Military and Trauma Certification, or LSATP certifications are advantageous but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Guiding Light Therapy, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $122,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload. In addition, our compensation package includes:
