Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver comprehensive counseling services that address academic, professional, and personal growth for a multicultural client base.

• Assist clients in managing their medication schedules, ensuring timely refills, monitoring medication adherence, and providing proper storage guidance.

• Facilitate clients' transportation needs by coordinating rides in personal and agency vehicles, while educating them on public transportation options to enhance their independence.

• Support clients in maintaining medical appointments and life skills, including meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking, to foster self-sufficiency.

• Document client interactions accurately and maintain thorough records, including progress notes and mileage, in alignment with organizational standards.

• Actively participate in a multidisciplinary team approach, ensuring effective communication among team members to promote best practices in client care.

• Monitor and report on the mood and general well-being of clients, adhering to safety protocols, and acting as a positive role model in their journey towards recovery.

• Contribute to the adherence of all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations relevant to mental health services, ensuring compliance with necessary certifications and licensing requirements.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.

• Current licensure as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or similar in California. Note: Associate-level licenses cannot be accepted due to billing restrictions.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, and familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases effectively with minimal direct supervision.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health setting or with geriatric populations is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
