This position supports a fully remote work setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to provide therapy and consultations. You will leverage electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain detailed, confidential records and collaborate effectively with other professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial client interviews to assess mental, behavioral, and emotional health, ensuring thorough documentation from the beginning of the treatment process.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that encompass intervention strategies for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate one-on-one and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based methodologies to foster healing and personal growth.

• Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients throughout their treatment, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize their success.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, medical doctors, and social workers, to create comprehensive care plans for clients with complex needs.

• Engage in follow-up with referring physicians for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring seamless communication for continuity of care.

• Proactively identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to address these challenges.

• Provide support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers in managing the mental health issues faced by their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California is required.

• Successful completion of the National Counseling Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is essential.

• Demonstrated experience providing mental health counseling services in a clinical setting.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage documentation and client interactions efficiently.

• Understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as familiarity with addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of best practices as set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
