Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients to gather relevant history and understand their unique challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, tailored to each client’s needs, with a focus on measurable outcomes.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions addressing mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal relationship challenges.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists and licensed social workers, to ensure holistic and effective care.

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to remain abreast of current therapeutic trends and best practices.

• Contribute ideas for service enhancements and participate in strategic planning to support the clinic’s mission of improving mental health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients facing emotional and psychological challenges, including adults dealing with the aftermath of childhood trauma, adolescents facing identity struggles, and individuals experiencing stressors related to current life transitions. Our diverse client population requires a compassionate approach that values each person’s unique story.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active license/certification in California, specifically LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience working with individuals confronting mental health challenges.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred, as it aids in efficient client management and documentation.

• Experience in providing care via telehealth platforms is highly advantageous, helping you adapt to remote counseling effectively.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to ensure a wide-ranging approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
