Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients during initial sessions, evaluating their mental health needs and determining the most effective therapeutic approaches.

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on clients’ needs, progress, and feedback.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely clinical records, including progress notes and treatment documentation, in adherence to federal and state regulations.

• Establish effective communication with referring physicians and healthcare providers to coordinate care and update them on patient progress.

• Respond swiftly to crisis situations, employing evidence-based techniques to ensure client safety and provide immediate support.

• Regularly engage families or support systems in the treatment process, facilitating discussions around client needs and progress.

• Participate in regular team meetings to collaboratively discuss cases, share insights, and develop best practices for service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Set Right Behavioral Healthcare, you will work primarily with individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges. This includes relationship issues, mental health disorders, trauma, and life transitions. You will be equipped with a diverse toolkit of therapeutic modalities to address the unique needs of each client, fostering resilience and improvements in interpersonal dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or an equivalent designation recognized in Washington State.

• A minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient setting, demonstrating adeptness in therapeutic intervention.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling proficient documentation and engagement with clients.

• Strong familiarity with electronic medical records systems and office software, including proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-direction, initiative, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or similar approaches is highly valued. Additionally, familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and family systems theory will set you apart as a candidate.
