In this remote role, you will interact with clients primarily through telehealth platforms and occasional in-person visits when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions via telehealth or in the client’s home, adapting to each child's needs and circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to help clients develop coping strategies for emotional regulation, anger management, and social skills enhancement.
\n
• Address high-risk behaviors, including self-injurious tendencies and physical aggression, implementing tailored interventions to mitigate these challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals from various disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
\n
• Complete and maintain accurate client documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, complying with all organizational deadlines.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings, presenting case updates and sharing insights for continuous improvement of services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with children and adolescents aged 3-20 who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), along with their families. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these individuals allows our therapists to offer personalized care that fosters better emotional and behavioral outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients navigate their challenges and achieve significant milestones in their growth and development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with a willingness to work some weekends.

• Proven experience in providing positive behavior support and therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Strong communication skills, especially for bilingual applicants skilled in Spanish or Portuguese.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for potential home visits.
\n
• Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
