Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home in Naperville, Illinois, or elsewhere. Our telehealth facility enables counselors to engage with clients through virtual platforms, ensuring continuity of care and accessibility for those who may face barriers to in-person visits. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to establish effective therapeutic relationships.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the identified needs of patients, using a variety of therapeutic approaches.

• Manage all required documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, in compliance with specified deadlines.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, risk management strategies, and wellness plans to support clients’ ongoing stability and well-being.
\n
• Create and implement discharge plans that facilitate smooth transitions for clients exiting therapy.
\n
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as our internal policies and procedures, to ensure compliance and uphold the highest standards of practice.

• Engage in professional development through continued education and training initiatives, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultation and agency meetings to foster collaboration and information sharing among team members.
\n
• Complete all requirements for licensure and mandatory training to maintain professional standing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse clientele experiencing various mental health challenges. Our clients range from individuals seeking support for anxiety and depression to families navigating complex relational issues. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary mental health setting, especially in telehealth services.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• A strong understanding of trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing techniques.
