Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in achieving stress reduction and overall well-being.

• Conduct detailed initial assessments to uncover clients' stressors, personal challenges, and therapeutic goals, customizing mindfulness practices to suit individual needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, including meditation and breathing techniques, while fostering self-awareness and emotional stability.

• Lead group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building, creating an encouraging environment for clients to share and learn.

• Integrate mindfulness strategies into one-on-one therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns while supporting clients' journeys toward personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.

• A strong foundation in mental health counseling theories, models, and practices.

• Demonstrated proficiency in employing mindfulness techniques within therapeutic settings.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of creating a supportive and calming environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training or certifications in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or related mindfulness practices is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
