Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and insightful assessments to understand the unique mental health challenges faced by clients, utilizing diagnostic criteria and clinical judgment to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver targeted individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each client, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide immediate intervention and support during acute mental health crises, employing de-escalation techniques and developing crisis management plans.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments in strict adherence to professional ethical and legal standards, ensuring continuity of care.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, consisting of psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to enhance care delivery and provide a holistic support system for clients.

• Empower clients and their families by sharing information regarding mental health issues, available treatment options, and external community resources to foster informed decisions regarding care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and continuing education opportunities to remain abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied client base that includes adults, adolescents, and families facing diverse challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your ability to establish rapport and trust will be integral as you facilitate therapy sessions that encourage client participation and commitment to the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
