We're partnering with an Am Law 100 firm seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its Affordable Housing Team in one of its Florida offices, including Orlando, Boca Raton, Miami, or West Palm Beach. The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will work closely with attorneys and fellow paralegals throughout all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and real estate development. This role is responsible for preparing transactional documents, coordinating closings, managing due diligence, organizing transaction files, and supporting post-closing activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of successfully managing multiple complex transactions while meeting demanding deadlines. REWARDS Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Paid vacation, personal time, and company holidays Professional development and continuing education opportunities Long-term career growth with a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm Collaborative and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to support one of the firm\'s sophisticated Affordable Housing and Commercial Real Estate practices REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Affordable Housing experience strongly preferred Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited four-year college or university Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development Excellent organizational, analytical, and process management skills Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems RESPONSIBILITIES Support attorneys throughout all phases of commercial real estate and affordable housing transactions Draft, review, and revise transactional documents, correspondence, and closing materials Coordinate due diligence, organize transaction documents, and maintain electronic and physical deal files Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and real estate development matters Coordinate closings, prepare closing binders, and manage post-closing documentation and follow-up Conduct legal and property-related research as needed to support ongoing transactions Communicate with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, government agencies, and third-party vendors throughout the transaction process Track transaction timelines, manage multiple deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all required documentation Maintain accurate records and support efficient workflow across multiple active matters Provide additional transactional and administrative support as needed within the Commercial Real Estate and Affordable Housing practice Emerge is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
