Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Intelicare Counseling, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining an active caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive relationships while upholding professional ethics and guidelines.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to assess progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and determine appropriate discharge plans when necessary.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment records for each of your clients.
\n
• Performing initial intake assessments to ascertain client needs and recommend suitable treatment options.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions weekly, using various therapeutic modalities suited for each client.

• Engaging in regular individual supervision meetings to foster professional development and address clinical concerns.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current NYS licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
