Overview
CT Technologist (Radiology Tech) – CT specialty in Rochester, New York. Start date June 22, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,579–$2,684 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 10-hour nights (4x10 schedule) with on-call, callback, and holidays per unit needs. Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital imaging department. Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; adhere to department safety policies
- Prepare patients for CT scans and explain procedures to help them feel comfortable
- Position patients and assist with safe patient handling, including moving patients with limited mobility
- Insert IVs and administer contrast as needed; injection certification preferred and may be completed during orientation
- Operate CT scanners; knowledge of Siemens and Philips equipment preferred
- Collaborate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging; document all steps in EPIC and ensure images are properly sent to PACS
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility; uphold quality control and patient safety standards

Requirements
- Completion of formal Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience; Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
- Experience with Siemens and/or Philips CT scanners; Epic experience highly desired
- Injection certification preferred; willing to complete during orientation
- Ability to work on-site in a hospital imaging department and adapt to night shift as required
