We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team full-time at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, nestled in the heart of Buffalo, New York. Work Environment

This onsite position offers a dynamic work setting, where you will collaborate with two other physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our rehabilitation center is designed to facilitate effective treatment and recovery, boasting a variety of rehabilitation tools, modalities, and collaborative spaces that enhance patient engagement and adherence to therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient needs and establish clear and achievable treatment goals.
• Effectively manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring timely and appropriate care delivery.
• Develop personalized care plans utilizing evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Implement cost-effective treatment protocols that enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall patient outcomes.
• Motivate and educate patients during their rehabilitation journey to help them achieve functional independence.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress meticulously to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adapt care strategies as necessary to meet evolving healthcare needs.
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration to ensure holistic care that encompasses all facets of patient well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions that impact mobility. You will work closely with individuals who not only aspire to regain full function but also aim to improve their overall quality of life through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher qualification, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• Demonstrated experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, ideally for a minimum of two years.
• No history of disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing and leading personalized exercise regimens tailored to individual patient goals.
• Background in implementing wellness and conditioning programs for various populations.
• Familiarity with the latest research in orthopedic physical therapy and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, accompanied by a robust benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
