Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments that capture the individual narratives and needs of patients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that encourage healing and resilience by utilizing therapeutic modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver comprehensive care that promotes optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services that are timely and effective during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. This includes keeping electronic health records (EHR) updated as per protocol.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
