Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to evaluate needs, develop treatment strategies, and establish individualized care plans.

• Prepare detailed intake summaries, treatment plans, and case records, ensuring compliance with state and NCQA regulations.

• Provide Telehealth therapy sessions, utilizing technology to connect with clients effectively.
\n
• Engage in listening sessions, offering psychotherapy and counseling tailored to the unique experiences of each senior client.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to plan and evaluate treatment programs, and collaborate on program development.
\n
• Research and connect clients with additional resources and support systems to assist with their mental health needs.
\n
• Manage a balanced caseload, ensuring timely and confidential documentation of each client’s progress and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on senior clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment issues. You will play a significant role in enhancing their quality of life by fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship and understanding their unique circumstances and backgrounds. Your expertise in geriatric mental health will contribute as you tailor your approach to the specific needs of this vulnerable population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent is required, as we are unable to accept associates licenses for billing through Medicare.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, are essential for maintaining documentation and communication.

• Strong self-direction and the ability to work autonomously without continuous supervision are critical to succeed in this role.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in geriatric counseling is preferred but not mandatory.

• Exposure to Telehealth platforms and familiarity with digital documentation systems will be beneficial in adapting to our remote service delivery model.
