Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial intake assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation from the first consultation to the conclusion of the treatment process.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.

• Design tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on individual needs and strengths.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to address multiple mental health issues.

• Continuously monitor and assess client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as warranted.

• Collaborate effectively with other health professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, social workers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Provide follow-up support and coordinate referrals for clients requiring additional services or specialized care.

• Engage with family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to manage mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other co-occurring issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey is required.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency with electronic health records systems, with experience using platforms such as AVATAR being advantageous.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health theories, diversity in treatment modalities, and best practices in counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience, with an attractive sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.
