Miracles of Life Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to provide remote outpatient mental health services to a diverse range of clients in Austin, Texas. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience both for our therapists and the patients we serve. The ideal candidate will work from home but will occasionally attend team meetings and training sessions, fostering a close-knit community despite the physical distance. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments that consider each patient's unique background and experiences.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring that cultural context is recognized and integrated into care.

• Facilitate individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy sessions, addressing various mental health concerns and empowering clients in their paths to recovery.

• Engage in collaborative care with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a multidimensional approach to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, helping clients navigate mental health emergencies with empathy and effectiveness.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment modalities, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and care.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to an ongoing dialogue about best practices and cultural competency in therapy.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, therapeutic practices, and cultural nuances that influence mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based practices, and the importance of cultural competency in therapeutic settings.

• Demonstrable experience in providing individual and group therapy utilizing inclusive methodologies.

• Well-developed crisis intervention capabilities, with an ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-pressure scenarios.

Miracles of Life Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000.
