Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, using therapeutic techniques tailored to the clients’ specific needs.

• Collect and analyze patient information relevant to the treatment plans, ensuring thorough documentation is maintained.

• Assist in crisis intervention by applying de-escalation techniques and carrying out safety protocols outlined in our training.

• Advocate for necessary patient referrals and services to enhance care quality, including coordination with other healthcare providers as needed.

• Document progress notes accurately and promptly at the end of each shift, ensuring they reflect patient progress toward their therapeutic goals.

• Monitor and report behavioral changes in clients that may indicate progress or necessitate a change in treatment strategy.
\n
• Provide orientation and support to patients and their families regarding treatment processes and available resources.
\n
• Manage time efficiently, aligning treatment with patient schedules and adapting to changes in workload as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a varied patient population, including diverse groups comprised of adults, children, and families. This role will engage with individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health conditions. You will be instrumental in promoting recovery by offering empathetic counseling that bridges understanding and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the State of California is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting with a focus on therapeutic intervention.

• Strong knowledge of the DSM-5 for diagnostic and treatment planning.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems, facilitating effective patient management and documentation.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills that foster strong therapeutic relationships.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of our mental health team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, accompanied by a robust benefits package that includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
