Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through preliminary interviews, utilizing active listening and probing questions to gather crucial client data.

• Evaluate clients’ psychological, emotional, and behavioral status and document findings meticulously from the assessment to course of treatment.

• Design tailored intervention and recovery strategies for a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families, ensuring each plan addresses unique needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to express themselves and explore their mental health challenges.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changing needs.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians—to ensure holistic care and management of clients.

• Maintain active follow-ups with clients transitioning in and out of hospital settings to ensure continuity of care.

• Proactively identify and address any behaviors that hinder recovery, working together with clients and their support systems to foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas is necessary.

• A commendable score on the National Counseling Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
