Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as a primary advocate for clients, guiding them in accessing necessary community resources, social services, and support systems to enhance their overall well-being.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support, ensuring client safety and stability during times of acute distress.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and quality of care.

• Collaborate extensively with colleagues across disciplines to form a coordinated and comprehensive care plan tailored to each client's unique situation.

• Educate clients on effective coping skills, self-care strategies, and communication techniques, empowering them to take charge of their mental health journey.

• Engage with community outreach initiatives, enhancing referral partnerships and networking to bolster support resources available to our client base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult clients dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, grief, and adjustment challenges. Additionally, you may be called upon to support caregivers and families navigating the complexities associated with hospice and end-of-life care, providing them the resources and emotional support they need in challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
\n
• At least four years of recent experience in a similar capacity with demonstrated success in counseling and social work.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a fundamental understanding of ethical and practice standards in social work.

• An ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous work experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
