This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to create a work-life balance that suits your lifestyle while serving clients across California. Operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, our counseling center prioritizes both the well-being of our clients and the professional development of our staff. Although primarily remote, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs, ensuring you can give the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine client needs and establish tailored treatment plans that guide ongoing therapy.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals and families, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, facilitating discussion and promoting community among clients experiencing similar issues.
\n
• Work side by side with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to coordinate comprehensive care strategies for each patient.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients on their mental health conditions, effective treatment strategies, and available community resources that can enhance their recovery journey.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards through accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance treatment approaches.

• Stay informed on the latest research and techniques within mental health therapy, implementing new methods to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse patient population, including adults, adolescents, and families struggling with various mental health disorders. Expected conditions include—though are not limited to—depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Your contributions will significantly affect their treatment journeys, enabling them to overcome challenges and achieve their personal goals for mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Strong knowledge and expertise in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
