Work Environment\n

The work environment at Heartland Wellness Center emphasizes flexibility and support. As a remote licensed therapist, you will enjoy a structured work schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while having the tools and resources necessary to succeed in a community health clinic setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, working together to provide integrated care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of your clients' mood disorder symptoms, tailoring therapeutic approaches accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that outline specific goals and interventions, regularly monitoring and adjusting plans based on progress and client feedback.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address clients' emotional, cognitive, and behavioral challenges.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Engage in team collaborations, participating in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and formulate effective, integrated treatment approaches.

• Maintain detailed, confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of client care and reporting.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic methods and client outcomes.

• Actively participate in advocating for mental health awareness and the needs of our clients, striving to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals struggling with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clientele may include vulnerable populations, such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. As a therapist, your compassion and expertise will be essential in guiding these individuals through their challenges and helping them reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
