Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, supporting clients in North Richland Hills, Texas, while also allowing for face-to-face sessions as needed. Our flexible working hours extend from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, fostering a work-life balance that suits both your schedules and those of our clients. Your caseload will typically be established within the first 90 days of employment, allowing you to focus on effective client care from the outset. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, which will guide the development of personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and promoting overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address clients’ needs effectively.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe environment for patients to address trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and engage in healing processes.
\n
• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for clients.
\n
• Offer timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related challenges, ensuring immediate and appropriate care.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping techniques, and community resources, thus promoting informed decision-making in their care journeys.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in strict adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance and accountability.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve diverse clients primarily dealing with trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred, demonstrating capability in trauma-informed care.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and a solid foundation in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
