Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of completely remote work, empowering you to manage your schedule while still having access to a wealth of resources and support from our dedicated team. As a remote clinician, you will utilize our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to document patient care, track progress, and adhere to all legal and ethical standards in your practice. The remote setting also allows you to connect with students in their homes or designated remote learning environments, catering to their specific situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Providing individual psychotherapy to adult clients, focusing on their mental and emotional health in relation to work injuries.
\n
• Conducting weekly psychoeducational classes to facilitate understanding of pain management strategies and coping techniques.
\n
• Engaging in brief therapy sessions for individuals under pain rehabilitation programs, evaluating their progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Developing and implementing comprehensive assessment and treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Delivering clinical care in accordance with best practices in the field of pain psychology, integrating interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.
\n
• Coordinating referrals to other therapeutic modalities and clinic services when appropriate, ensuring a comprehensive care approach for each client.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in our EMR system.
\n
• Ensuring that all clinical practices comply with statutory regulations and ethical standards, fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele includes adults who have sustained injuries in the workplace and face challenges predominantly related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain. Your role will be critical in helping these individuals navigate their emotional responses and improve their coping strategies, ultimately making significant contributions toward their recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active California LCSW license is required.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in therapeutic settings, particularly in environments dealing with chronic pain and psychological impact.

• Proficiency in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-oriented interventions.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of clients and families, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Sound judgment and ethical reasoning in clinical decision-making processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience. In addition to a generous salary, we provide:
