Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients, addressing their unique needs through evidence-based approaches.

• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies, including pre-crisis planning, crisis plans, and risk assessments, ensuring clients receive immediate and effective support.

• Maintain timely documentation of client encounters, adhering to organizational and regulatory standards to promote accountability and transparency.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that enhance client engagement and success.
\n
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance and upholding the highest standards of care.

• Serve as a liaison between clients, service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering essential collaborations and resource connections.

• Establish strong lines of communication within the agency and with external stakeholders to promote our mission and enhance program integrity.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending relevant conferences, participating in task forces, and representing the agency in community initiatives.

• Contribute positively to the agency's culture by promoting its values, philosophy, and mission in all interactions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director as needed to support the operations of the counseling center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Alvita, you will work primarily with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health challenges, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and people with developmental disabilities. Understanding and addressing the unique cultural backgrounds and circumstances of our clients is essential to providing effective care.
