Staff Accountant

Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting Support internal and external audit requests Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial data Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2-5 years of accounting experience in manufacturing or public accounting Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting ERP system experience preferred CPA designation or CPA-track preferred but not required Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing accounting experience Inventory, cost accounting, or fixed asset accounting exposure Audit experience from a public accounting firm Experience working in a fast-paced environment Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth and advancement opportunities LHH Recruitment Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
