This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work hours from the comfort of your home while maintaining high standards of mental health care through telehealth services. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, although some adjustment may be necessary to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to integrate individual background, experiences, and needs into personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to facilitate effective treatment tailored to the unique characteristics and preferences of your patients.

• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that foster resilience, healing, and positive change.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive mental health care, ensuring all team members are aligned on patient treatment plans.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, assessing risk and implementing immediate care as necessary.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, along with community resources that can support their recovery and well-being.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring complete records of the therapeutic process.

• Participate actively in case discussions, professional workshops, and training on cultural competency to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Stay abreast of current literature in mental health fields, integrating new findings and best practices into therapeutic methods.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Florida.

• An in-depth understanding of mental health disorders, treatment theories, and cultural considerations affecting therapy.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy through inclusive, culturally responsive approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities with the ability to respond effectively under pressure.
