Business Development Coordinator — South Texas (Part-Time)

Prudentia Analytics LLC is a small Texas company building its business-to-business customer base, and we are hiring our first employee to help us do it. We are looking for someone who is comfortable researching prospective customers, picking up the phone, writing professional outreach emails, finding the right decision-maker, following up when there is no immediate response, and turning initial conversations into qualified commercial opportunities. This is not a passive lead-processing position. You will help create the pipeline. Your initial commercial focus will support Prudentia Workforce Training Solutions, serving organizational customers in South Texas. The role is remote-first, with occasional authorized in-person prospect or customer meetings when commercially justified. What you'll do Research prospective organizational customers throughout South Texas. Identify relevant managers and business decision-makers. Conduct outbound prospecting by telephone, email, LinkedIn, and other approved channels. Introduce Prudentia and approved company offerings professionally. Conduct initial conversations to understand prospective customer needs, timing, location, and approximate requirements. Follow up consistently with prospective customers. Maintain accurate prospect and opportunity records. Manage assigned opportunities through Prudentia's acquisition pipeline. Schedule qualified commercial discussions and meetings. Participate in authorized in-person prospect or site meetings when commercially appropriate. Recognize when an opportunity is ready for management involvement and make a disciplined handoff. The role develops and qualifies commercial opportunities. Proposals, contract negotiation, contractual commitments, and final commercial approvals remain with management. Who we're looking for You may be a strong fit if you can communicate professionally with business customers and are comfortable initiating conversations rather than waiting for them to come to you. You should be able to work independently, organize multiple prospects, follow up consistently, maintain accurate records, and learn web-based business systems. You will need reliable internet access and an appropriate computer for remote work under Prudentia's BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and information-security requirements. Preferred, but not required: Previous experience in business development, inside/outbound sales, customer service, or account development; experience communicating with business owners or organizational decision-makers; familiarity with South Texas/Rio Grande Valley businesses; CRM or pipeline-management experience; or experience around workforce training, industrial services, construction, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, or related B2B markets. English/Spanish bilingual communication is preferred but not required. Compensation and work structure $17.00–$19.00/hour, based on relevant experience and demonstrated qualifications. Maximum 10 authorized hours per workweek. Hours are scheduled in practical work blocks according to business requirements and management authorization; the maximum is not a guarantee of weekly hours. In addition, the employee is eligible for a 5% commission on qualifying Net Collected Revenue from eligible employee-sourced business, subject to Prudentia's Commission Plan. This is a 60-day introductory pilot and at-will employment. The introductory period does not guarantee employment for any particular duration. Location requirement This is a remote-first position geographically based in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Applicants must reside in the Rio Grande Valley and be available for occasional authorized in-person business activities within the region when required. This is not a nationwide remote position. Occasional authorized local business travel may be required. Employees authorized to drive for company business must satisfy Prudentia's applicable driving requirements, including maintaining a valid driver's license and required personal automobile insurance.
