Easy Start Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Miami Gardens, Florida. In this role, you will be integral to our rehabilitation services, providing high-quality patient care in an onsite rehabilitation center. This position encompasses a forty-hour work week, focusing on outpatient orthopedics with an emphasis on spine surgery. Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our Miami Gardens facility, which is designed to facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation therapies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and departmental goals.
• Implement and interpret therapeutic programs, objectives, and policies, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
• Stay proficient in key competencies, including patient rights, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
• Foster professional relationships with colleagues, support staff, and vendors to ensure a collaborative care approach.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and adhere to company policies regarding compliance and ethical practice.
• Exhibit professionalism by adhering to the company's Code of Conduct while participating in regular training sessions.
• Engage in community health initiatives as appropriate, emphasizing our commitment to holistic health and outreach.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel effectively for documentation, case management, and communication with patients and colleagues.
• Work with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care planning and outcomes.
• Demonstrate proper body mechanics during treatment sessions, ensuring safety for both yourself and the patient.
• Have the autonomy to make independent clinical decisions in the best interest of patient care when necessary.
• Maintain familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations affecting patient care in post-acute settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The majority of our patients are individuals requiring rehabilitation post-surgical interventions or those suffering from chronic orthopedic conditions, particularly related to spinal health. You will play a vital role in restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the quality of life for these patients. Your interventions will be critical in transitioning them back to their daily activities, maximizing their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; candidates with a Master's degree (MSPT) or Doctorate degree (DPT) are preferred.
• Licensed and registered to practice in Florida, with a commitment to maintaining an active, valid license throughout employment.
• Current CPR certification is required upon hire and must remain valid during your tenure with us.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with prior outpatient orthopedic experience, particularly those who have worked directly with patients recovering from spinal surgeries or similar procedures. Experience with specific rehabilitation technologies and techniques will be advantageous.
