About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP for Hedge Fund Credit Risk within its Prime Financing division. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit assessments of both new and existing counterparties, with a specific focus on hedge fund clients. This role involves monitoring exposures and performing ongoing counterparty risk analysis in the context of prime financing activities. The SVP will also be tasked with developing, setting, and overseeing risk limits that are in line with portfolio and market dynamics. Key responsibilities for the SVP include supporting and participating in the negotiation of credit terms and related legal documentation, as well as reviewing, challenging, and providing independent risk perspectives on business proposals. The role requires the preparation of detailed analyses and the ability to respond to ad hoc requests from senior management, regulators, and internal audit teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit risk management, particularly within the hedge fund sector, and possess the skills necessary to ensure that risk limits are effectively managed and aligned with the company's overall risk appetite.
