About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – Central Ohio

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift float pool, 36 hours per week, 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, some holidays required

• 24-hour orientation with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and respiratory services
• Epic EMR system in use facility-wide
• Preferred trauma experience (Level I or II) with diverse MS/Tele patient populations

• Two pre-approved time-off periods available

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry settings
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring mandatory
• Epic charting system experience required
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract acceptance
