About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4:1 patient ratio. Every other weekend required. Float and call within the health system required.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with 4:1 to 5:1 patient ratios preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, central line care, blood product administration, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (one must be from a manager/director or formal supervisor)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required

Important Compliance Information:

• Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing due to strict compliance deadlines
• Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking
• Compliance deadline is the Tuesday prior to start date with no exceptions
• Former employees must have been away from the facility for 6 months or more to be eligible
