Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop client-centered treatment plans that include pre-crisis and crisis management strategies.

• Complete necessary documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and within timely parameters.
\n
• Employ evidence-based screening tools to assess client needs efficiently and accurately.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement innovative positive behavior support plans aimed at enhancing client outcomes.
\n
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain the high standards of care at Blue Ridge Behavioral Health.
\n
• Act as a liaison between clients and essential state and community service systems, ensuring access to appropriate resources and support.
\n
• Maintain open communication with clients and team members to fulfill contract requirements and further our mission within the community.
\n
• Establish and nurture partnerships with local, state, federal, and private entities to bolster program visibility and secure additional funding opportunities.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities such as attending conferences and participating in task forces relevant to mental health.
\n
• Embody the agency's mission, values, and philosophy in all interactions and decisions.
\n
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMHC at Blue Ridge Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with mental health disorders, substance use issues, and developmental disabilities. Your expertise will allow you to offer tailored therapeutic interventions that address the unique challenges faced by each client, fostering their personal growth and recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.

• A valid and independent LMHC license issued by the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate clinical records and produce comprehensive reports.

\n
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate ideas and treatment findings clearly.
\n
• Strong decision-making capabilities rooted in professional mental health knowledge.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a telehealth setting or providing virtual counseling services.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical software.

• Experience with evidence-based practices and methodologies in mental health counseling.

• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
