Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments via video-based encounters, gathering comprehensive mental health information including health histories and mental status examinations.

• Devise and implement individualized behavioral health treatment plans tailored to meet the distinct needs of each patient, regularly evaluating their progress and modifying care as necessary.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic support through modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, ensuring all interventions are rooted in best practices.

• Maintain meticulous records of patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to remain current with advancements in mental health practices and standards of care.

• Actively participate in team meetings to share experiences, discuss patient cases, and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related symptoms. This role requires sensitivity and empathy as you work to build trusting relationships with clients from varied backgrounds and experiences, many of whom may face significant barriers to accessing mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Art Therapy, or Psychology.

• Possession of a valid and current mental health licensure (such as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, essential for effective patient interactions.

• Ability to utilize electronic clinical systems and EHR platforms proficiently to document patient information and treatment outcomes.

• Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth, with an emphasis on developing knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
