Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and challenges.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups facilitating discussions around topics like managing anxiety and coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate a comprehensive patient care strategy.

• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, guiding patients through mental health emergencies with empathy and expertise.

• Educate patients on mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately to meet legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient demographic is diverse, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. You will be given the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families, adapting your therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions.

• Experience conducting thorough mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Demonstrated ability to provide therapy to individuals and groups, particularly among varied populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
