Personal Lines Account Executive

Our client is a well-established, family-owned insurance agency that has been serving the Long Island community for many years and is continuing to grow and expand. Known for its welcoming, collaborative environment and commitment to exceptional client service, the agency offers employees the opportunity to build long-term careers within a close-knit, team-oriented environment. The Personal Lines Account Executive will join a seven-person team, reporting directly to Barbara. This is a newly created position due to company growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is a polished, professional insurance industry professional with prior personal lines experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. An active Property & Casualty Insurance License is a plus, though relevant industry experience is required.
- Location: West Sayville, NY
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Fully Onsite
- Salary: $60-$70k
- Employment Type: Direct Hire Preferred; Temp-to-Perm Considered
- Compensation: Base salary plus monthly commission
- Serve as the primary point of contact for personal lines insurance clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including homeowners, auto, umbrella, and related policies
- Assist clients with policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, billing inquiries, and coverage-related questions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and responsiveness
- Work directly with insurance carriers to facilitate policy transactions and resolve issues
- Review policies and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Identify opportunities to enhance client coverage and support account growth initiatives
- Collaborate with team members and assist with additional account management responsibilities as needed
- Previous experience in a Personal Lines Account Executive, Personal Lines Account Manager, or similar insurance servicing role required
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License strongly preferred
- Experience working within an insurance agency environment required
- Experience using an Agency Management System highly preferred
- Outstanding customer service and relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Polished and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
