Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive bios psychosocial evaluations to assess the needs of students and their families, identifying barriers to treatment and optimizing health status.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing best practice evidence-based modalities for individual and group therapy.

• Offer insightful consultations to medical and educational staff about patients’ psych-social functioning to enhance care strategies.

• Ensure consistent adherence to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and maintain the highest professional standards in all interactions.

• Document interventions and patient progress accurately in medical records per departmental standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

• Educate and empower patients and their families by providing clear guidance on treatment options and support resources.

• Advocate for patients’ needs and mobilize community resources to facilitate improved access to care and social support.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions and remaining informed about community resources relevant to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on students and their families, addressing a range of psychosocial issues stemming from both mental health and environmental factors. You will work with diverse populations, recognizing the importance of cultural competency and sensitivity in each encounter. Understanding developmental stages and the specific needs of children and adolescents is crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the State Board of Social Work Licensure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
