AEM Lead Software Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering, plus 5+ years of experience building and architecting enterprise websites, including at least 3 years in a lead developer capacity.
• We need deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, including component development, content architecture, templates, OSGi, Sling Models, and dispatcher setup.
• We require experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM Managed Services.
• We need strong knowledge of Adobes marketing ecosystem, such as Marketo, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Engage, and how these tools integrate with AEM.
• We expect hands-on proficiency with modern front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React or similar frameworks, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design.
• We require a solid understanding of web security, SEO best practices, web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x), and performance tuning.
• We look for experience leading developers and collaborating with external implementation partners or agencies.
• We need strong communication skills and the ability to partner with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.

• We create original code solutions and lead the development of new production capabilities across teams and functions.
• We translate highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches for leadership so they can make informed decisions about technology direction.
• We drive the adoption and execution of technical methods in specialized areas aligned with modern product development practices.
• We build durable, reusable software frameworks that can be used across multiple teams and functions.
• We influence business, product, and technology stakeholders while managing senior relationships effectively.
